I am looking for a a very immersive and in depth dragon ball game. I don't really care what the graphics look like. like an open world game that kinda borders between being a roleplay and action game. I found a game on the BYOND launcher called Boudkai Roleplay. it had character aging, planet destruction, and perma death. I only read the things on the wiki but it seemed to be a very in depth game but the servers for it aren't active anymore so now i'm seeing if there's anything as lore accurate. I tried some games on Roblox but none of them hit the mark. they were either just very generic RPG grinds or just a true fighting game. and i can't find really find anything with a google search because the results are always just about official games and nothing about any of the fan made stuff. I don't really care the source of the game as long as it's massive multiplayer and very immersive.>>1701596 You missed the BYOND days, Anon. There were plenty of populated games up on the site that were all about making your own dude and training up to ridiculous heights with varying levels of quality, with the worst of the worst being about keeping your PC on spamming a macro to hit a punching bag in high gravity. I've got a few suggestions but most of them are pretty rough to get in to and none of them really have a player base so will most likely be a single player experience. Anyway in no particular order:
Various Dragon Ball Zeta rips on BYOND So most of these suck, but they're just about the only things likely to remain. Most BYOND devs are really protective of their source code (due largely to Zeta's leak and subsequent violation) and host files. These are pretty rough, but they might be interesting or inspiring to you in some way.
DBTC This is an old BYOND game made by a guy called SuperSaiyanGokuX. He also made a game called "Murder Mansion" which is probably the easiest way to find his profile. The page for DBTC was taken down when BYOND tried to become mainstream and advertiser friendly by gutting a bunch of the fan games on it, but you used to be able to get the files on his user page somewhere. No idea if they'll still work.
Sparking! mod for Dwarf Fortress This is a single player game, but it's built on top of DF. You can run a fortress of Saiyans if you like, but the real interesting part is the Adventure mode gameplay where you can roam the world training (wrestling wildlife) and questing with the descriptive and high detail systems of Dwarf Fortress' combat. This one is pretty rough to get working, and the dev is working on the Steam release of DF so it's on hiatus until then, but he's expressed interest in returning. You also very much have to make your own fun here.
So not much I know, but that's all I got. If you're really desperate you can try Dragon Ball Online, which was a Korean MMO that has a few private servers kicking around.
