It's intentionally obscure, draws on ideas from many disparate disciplines, and is constantly responding to works and intellectual movements most readers will have not engaged with. It's not just the case that nobody here can spoonfeed you ATP, however. It's also that doing so would go against the entire ethos of the work. Its ideas are to be digested and integrated on one's own terms, not preached. It's a book that invites misinterpretation. So, misinterpret it.
What I would recommend to get started: read Massumi's foreword until you've more or less memorized it. Then read the first and last chapters (you're told not to, do it anyways). Then read the table of contents carefully (it's as detailed as it is for a reason), followed by any sections that look interesting to you. Keep doing that until you become bored or frustrated. Then, go read something else. If what ATP is trying to do has stuck with you, you'll no doubt want to revisit certain sections of it in reference to your current reading. If not, that's fine.
