>spend free time examining princess' wardrobe. Impressive textiles and whatnot, your hand brushes over each article of clothing. You stop to inspect the shoes. At your size, you could live in one and have ample space to boot
>princess notices this. Thinks its cute. Her eyes widened into saucers when you begin explaining your interests
>the now enamoured princess finds you cute and adorable and always asks for your opinions on fashionable footwear
>enjoys poking you with her toes and treating you like a toy for her feet whenever she gets the chance
>"Does the little shoemaker want to measure me again today? I think I've grown a few since the last time, teehee!"
>suddenly am cobbler now
>princess' fawning over you is overheard by her other giant maids. Rumour mill does its thing, which gets back to the queen(2/2)

>queen giantess goes into mama bear mode upon further scrutiny of the concept of a tiny cobbler. Brings up that he'd be risking his life to make shoes for a being that could end him and be completely unaware of it
>you try to defend her, but once princess lets slip how she likes to squeeze you in her hands and poke you all the time the queen doubles down and takes you away from what is CLEARLY some sort of cruel and barbaric torture unbecoming of a royal
>takes you from an upset and worried princess to go live in queen's personal chambers
>so weird to think you've basically been adopted by this weird family
>if princess treated you like a pet and a toy, the queen treats you more like a harmless pet who is incapable of doing literally anything without her
>she watches you carefully while she spoon-feeds you, has you try on tailor-made clothes. Queen even holds you in her sleep to keep her company. Probably just pity for being treated so 'unfairly' by the princess
>issue is, old habits die hard. As much as she wants to protest, and so you don't want to stop doing the one thing you've come to care about so passionately
>it is for this reason that you humbly ask to measure the queen's feet
>the flustered look on her face almost has you regretting your decision but she pulls through and allows it
>get second-hand embarrassment as the queen squeaks and blushes as you take her measurements
>they're big, even for a giant
>queen tries her best to stay still but even she can't resist twitching her toes when you measure them
>every time you come near her, she blushes and makes a face like she's constipated and screams into her pillow
>soon you have to address the giant in the room, and the queen's poor facade finally breaks as she confesses
>"I- I apologise little one! I cannot help it! I just cannot help myself to focus when you are so... so CUTE~!"
>you start to think the daughter's footplay might be an inherited fetish
